27th July - 2nd August 2009
Chester and Liverpool

The Summer Course 2009 will be held in Chester and Liverpool and will run from Monday 27th July to Sunday 2nd August.

We will be singing services and giving a lunchtime concert in Chester Cathedral, and travelling to Liverpool to sing there. Useful information

Accommodation and catering

Accommodation in Chester is in student flats and houses. The houses have single bedrooms, showers and toilets and a fully equipped kitchen including crockery, cutlery, pans and kitchen utensils.

Breakfast will be self-catered, so we will distribute cash on arrival to buy supplies. You can of course bring your preferred choice of breakfast with you to save the trouble of going shopping in Chester (you will still get the cash of course).

What you will need to bring

• Any music that is sent out to you in advance of the course
• An RSCM folder, if you have one
• A pencil
• Map and timetable
• Completed parental permission form if you are under 18
• A cheque to settle any outstanding course fee
• Towels, and a tea towel for use in the kitchen at the flats
• A pillow if you wish – since university-supplied pillows are usually unsatisfactory!
• Dress for concerts and services is all black – black tops with long or short sleeves (but not sleeveless) and trousers or skirts. Please bring shoes that you can process in quietly.
